The Ibanez GRG121DXL-WNF is a left-handed electric guitar in the Super ST design from the GIO series, which offers affordable instruments suitable for beginning players. Even with these entry-level series, care is taken to ensure that the look, sound and playability of the guitars offer players maximum satisfaction.
The body of the guitar is made of okoumé. A purpleheart/amaranth fingerboard with twenty-four jumbo frets is glued to the maple neck. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position markers in Sharktooth design.
Two IBZ passive humbuckers with ceramic magnets give the guitar the necessary sonic punch. Standard adjustments can be made using the volume potentiometer, tone shutter and five-position switch (position 2 plays only the inner neck pickup coil, position 4 the inner neck pickup coil and the outer neck pickup coil). The strings are anchored in the company's tuning machines and through a fixed tailpiece through the body of the guitar.
