Boss RC-500 Loop Station

The Boss RC-500 is a two-track stereo looper that allows you to connect an instrument and a microphone at the same time, making it the ideal device for songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, buskers and any musician looking to take their bowing to the next level. It also provides automatic rhythm accompaniments and looping effects to add new sonic energy to your tracks.

Looper offers superior 32-bit audio quality that lets you layer loops without the need for compression. With a generous 13 hours of recording time (90 minutes per loop), you'll never have to worry about running out of time while looping again. You'll be able to store your recordings in 99 memory slots that can be backed up to your computer via USB. Looper also includes 57 preset rhythms with selectable A/B variations and sixteen different drum kits. You can also import backing tracks into the device to improve your jamming, phrasing and soloing. If you feel like your tracks are still missing something, you can kick your sound up a notch with Loop FX effects (like scatter or repeat) that instantly bring your sound to life. In short, the RC-500 Looper is as versatile as it gets.

The extreme flexibility in connectivity (Mono/Stereo inputs and outputs, XLR microphone input with phantom power, MIDI compatibility, USB port, input for external footswitch/expression pedal) makes the RC-500 a full-featured piece of gear for buskers and other active musicians. Stereo outputs allow you to send guitar and microphone signals to two different devices, or to a stereo PA system. All basic functions can be easily controlled using the three integrated footswitches, but you can also connect up to two external footswitches (or one expression pedal) to the box and assign different functions to them. Owners of more advanced systems will love the TRS MIDI interface, which allows remote control from MIDI controllers or MIDI sync with drum machines and DAWs. The aforementioned USB allows you to import your own rhythms/tracks into the device and save your recorded loops to your computer.

The pedal is wired as a buffered bypass. Power is supplied by 4x AA batteries or a BOSS PSA adapter (not included).
