Left-Handed Electro-Acoustic Classical Guitar / HN220544
This left-handed electroacoustic classical guitar model is another addition to Ortega's limited Signature line. It is a semi-massive guitar with a narrow neck and a lower body cutaway for better matching at higher fretboard positions. The instrument was made in Spain to the exact specifications of Thomas Zwijsen, Ortega's in-house player who is known for his remakes of hits by the British band Iron Maiden on classical guitar.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Canadian spruce, while the back and sides are made of Spalted maple with a nice wood grain. A rounded (radiused fretboard) maple fingerboard fitted with nineteen frets is glued to the mahogany neck.
The guitar is equipped with Fishman/Ortega Clasica Blend electronics with integrated tuner, three-band equalizer, volume knob, Phase button for phase reversal (noise reduction) and Notch filter with feedback suppression function. The signal from the guitar can be sent through both the classic 6.3 mm jack and XLR outputs. The strings are anchored by a pau ferro tailpiece and classic open tuners in gold finish with black pegs. The nice workmanship is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of decorative rosette and perimeter binding.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
