The NEKKST K8 studio monitor is the result of a collaboration between BEHRINGER sound engineers and KRK's master engineer and founder, Keith R. Klawitter. This incredible reference system is ideal for critical sound environments, thanks to the use of a custom-designed bi-amp amplification system. In fact, it includes separate amplifiers for the 8" fiberglass woofer and the 1" silk cone tweeter. The K8 incorporates a long-throw woofer and therefore produces deep bass and virtually pristine mids, while the ultra-high resolution tweeter produces shimmering highs - all enhanced by Advanced Waveguide technology for an exceptionally generous area of ideal listening space.

Waveguide technology for maximum acoustic dispersion

Featuring advanced Waveguide technology for maximum acoustic dispersion, the K8 generates an extremely generous area of ideal listening space for easy and optimal monitoring. The True bi-amp system, ingenious crossover design and separate amplifiers are used separately for high and low frequency signals, ensuring excellent long-throw sound reproduction and resistance to distortion and sound distortion. The fibreglass bass cones and precision tweeter cones satisfy not only seasoned sound engineers and producers with their reproduction quality, but the sound pressure level also makes them suitable for audiophiles or for home and professional recording studios.

Two speakers, two amplifiers

The K8 offers 150 watts of ultra-clean performance, produced through separately powered drivers, and through a true bi-amping mode with two amplifiers per speaker. Therefore, the K8 produces high-resolution sound that truly brings out the best in your music. The woofer and tweeter are powered by separate amplifiers, resulting in absolute signal integrity.

Versatile use

The rear panel features a switch to adjust the high and low frequency response to compensate for different room attributes, or to pair with a dedicated subwoofer. Independently controlled limiters protect both the woofer and tweeter against overload.
