The mahogany body of the Hydra Elite VF FSH7 seven-string multiscale guitar is decorated with a spectacular top made of AAA quality eye poplar. The neck is bolted to the body using six screws and consists of five pieces of wenge and purpleheart. Maximum playing comfort is provided by a specially shaped neck foot for easy access to the higher positions of the ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-four slanted frets (multiscale concept) made of Extra Jumbo stainless steel, the 645-687 mm gauge provides the strings with optimal tension and, according to some musicians, a more natural movement of the hand on the fingerboard. The absence of front orientation markers is compensated by side luminescent dots.

Two Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers with ceramic magnets give the guitar a dynamic, aggressive sound (ideal for modern offshoots of metal and core styles) with excellent tone articulation, refined character and minimal noise. The guitar's sonic arsenal can be expanded with a five-position pickup switch (split-coil configuration) and by activating a second voicing by flipping the volume potentiometer (Push/Pull function).

The strings are mounted in an AMB headstock with integrated tuning mechanisms. The guitar comes in a luxurious padded gig bag.
