This bass with the Workshop moniker belongs to a model range that offers various innovative and atypical features. In this case, it is in particular the multiscale fingerboard, which, thanks to its bevelled frets, offers a menzaura ranging from 864 to 901.7 millimetres. This system has many advantages, but the most important is the significant improvement in playing comfort, allowing a more natural movement of the hand on the fingerboard.
The body is composed of the proven combination of exotic okoume wood with an attractively figured poplar top, complemented by a five-piece neck made of walnut and Brazilian jatoba cherry. The panga panga wood fingerboard is decorated with special acrylic markings and fitted with 24 Medium size frets.
The instrument is fitted with two Bartolini BH2 passive pickups, the sound from them can be controlled by the Volume, Balance potentiometer and an active three-band EQ, complete with a midrange switch as well as an EQ Bypass switch. This combination of pickups and other electronics makes it completely seamless to get a large number of sound settings while maintaining perfect tone color and dynamics. The strings are anchored in an MR5S type headstock with a string spacing of 16.5 millimeters.
