IBANEZ RGD61ALET-MGM

The RGD series of the Japanese brand Ibanez is based on the specifics of the well-known RG series, enriched with bevelled body cutouts and, above all, a longer menzurra. These are the ultimate metal/core machines in baritone or multi-string versions, especially suitable for guitarists who like a tuned sound. Flatter fast necks, lighter weight and distinctive cut-outs with stylishly pointed horns for easy movement across the entire fingerboard surface are the reasons for the extreme popularity of these instruments among rock and metal guitarists.

The body of the RGD61ALET-MGM is made from exotic nyatoh wood and a maple top. Glued to the neck, composed of five pieces of walnut and panga panga, is an ebony makassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four cryogenically treated jumbo-sized frets. Orientation around its surface is facilitated by white offset position dots and luminescent markers on the side, which will give you a perfect overview of the movement on the fingerboard even in dark backlit stage environments.

Two Fishman Fluence active humbuckers with ceramic magnets give the guitar a dynamic aggressive sound (ideal for modern offshoots of metal and core styles) with excellent tone articulation, refined character and minimal noise. The guitar's sonic arsenal can be expanded by activating a second voicing by flipping the volume potentiometer (Push/Pull function), or by toggling the Coil-tap switch to change the character of the humbucker to single-coil in seconds.

Tuning stability is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Gotoh Magnum Lock locking mechanism and Evertune tailpiece, which compensates for string pull when plucking and sharper playing, ensuring the guitar stays in tune in all conditions.

Schaller's S-Locks safety strap locks are included.
