This bass comes from the ESP Deluxe Series and is thus predestined for professional use not only on stage or in the studio. These newly improved B-1004 and B-1005 models have revised materials and manufacturing processes that make them great for almost any musical style and genre.
In the production of the B-1004 MS NS, a selection of Swamp Ash with Ziricote top was used for the body and a combination of Wenge and Purple heart woods for the neck. The fingerboard is milled from Pau Ferro wood.
These fine woods are then joined by premium hardware such as a Hipshot fingerboard, Gotoh tuning machines and last but not least, hum-cancelling Nordstrand Big Splits pickups that produce no noise wherever you are. The pickups are complemented by ABQ-3MS 3-band EQ active electronics, with which you can adjust the sound to your liking. Alternatively, it can be turned off and the pickups can be used in passive mode only.
The instrument's gauge is measured at a standard 34 inches on the G string. On the E string, the menzure is already 36.25 inches. This gives you a very tight and specific bass.
