Jackson SLX Soloist Arch Top 8 MS LRL BLK

The X series of the American brand Jackson is a mid-range electric guitar with a typical corporate design and great playing characteristics, but still at a relatively affordable price. Specifically, the Soloist models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.

The construction of this eight-string guitar with a domed top is composed of poplar body wings and a through-neck made of a single piece of maple with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The fig fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets. The currently popular Multi-scale concept, i.e. the fitting of the fingerboard with diagonally placed frets, provides the instrument with a variable menzatura (660 mm - 711 mm) and the strings with optimum tension. In the opinion of some musicians, it also allows a more natural movement of the hand on the fingerboard. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions.



Two modern EMG humbuckers with high output signal give the guitar a juicy sound and clear articulation even in deep positions for matching the sound of core, djent or metal riffs and breakdowns. Volume potentiometer, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. Tuning stability and good intonation are ensured by the attachment of the strings in the company's tuning machines and eight separate tuning saddles (anchoring the strings through the guitar body).

For several decades, electric guitars of the American brand Jackson have been appealing primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's list of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
