Nord Wave 2

Nord's most versatile instrument
The Nord Wave 2 features four independent synthesizers, each with its own intuitive control panel and clear OLED display for easy setup. The synths offer a wide variety of sounds and samples, so you can let your creativity run wild and not be limited by anything.

Working section
This panel is made up of basic controls and faders with which you control and manage the basic functions of the Nord Wave 2 synthesizer, i.e. Volume, EQ, mixing, etc. The panel also allows you to mix the ratios between the different synths via Focus, Pan Control, Solo and Multi-editing modes. Through the Group section, you can in turn handle FIlter, Envelope, Arpeggiator and effects settings.

Oscillator section
At the heart of Nord Wave 2 is the aforementioned quartet of synths, whose common settings and parameters you specify via this section. Analog offers you classic analog sounds augmented with rich harmonies and modulation effects. Samples, on the other hand, offers a wide variety of samples from the Sample Library, where you'll find countless musical instruments from strings to guitars to drums and percussion. Wavetable contains many sounds and covers a wide range of tonal characteristics. The last synth is FM, which walks you through all possible harmonies and offers configuration on 2-4 operators.

Filters, Amplifiers & LFOs
In the filter section, you have up to six types to choose from, including a stunning emulation of the transistor filter from the legendary Nord Mini. The Envelope, on the other hand, features a speed setting or inverted mode. The LFO can then wow you with speed sync in Master Clock mode. The amp is equipped with ADSR technology, so your sound gets even more drive.

Impulse Morphing
The synth includes a wide range of morphable parameters that you can control via Velocity, Aftertouch, Control Wheel or pedal. Assigning control sources to individual synths is very simple, and the intuitive Impulse Morph feature lets you instantly change any parameter of your sound as you play.

Advanced polyphonic arpeggiator and GATE
The Nord Wave 2 offers a powerful arpeggiator and polyphonic mode with preset patters that load instantly when you hold down each key. A new feature is the GATE mode, which creates a punchy staccato that gives your breakdowns a whole new dimension.

Effects section
Another completely separate section is the popular effects, here you will find Modular Effects (Tremolo, Chorus etc.), Delay (Ping Pong, Pan, Tap Tempo), Reverb (Booth, Room, Stage, Hall and the new Cathedral) and many other great effects that will enrich your sound and ensure your playing is authentic and unique.
