The third generation Orion32+ is a unique Thunderbolt/USB sound card that builds on the previous two globally successful audio interfaces. The device now features improved transducers, higher dynamics and better noise rejection. The FPGA FX effects processor is linked to Antelope Audio's extensive sound plugin library. Customers can purchase additional plug-ins as needed or the AFX2DAW software bridge to implement plug-ins into their favorite DAW. As with the previous model, the card allows multiple accesses within a single network. The Word Clock feature brings you flawless real-time synchronization with other devices with near-zero latency.

As well as great sound quality and intuitive controls, the Orion32+ also includes an AD/DA converter with a dynamic range of up to 121dB, so you can convert old analogue files to modern digital formats, where you can clean them of distracting noise with various filters and plug-ins and convert them back to their original analogue format so the recording doesn't lose its original patina and feel. The front panel offers an intuitive control panel and a clear two-line display for displaying input signal values and easy sound card setup. A pair of independent monitor outputs provide detailed listening, while the rear panel also features outputs to other devices, a DB25 connector, Thunderbolt, USB, MADI and last but not least, ADAT and S/PDIF digital ports for connecting other devices via a TOSlink optical cable.

Thanks to the fast Thunderbolt connection, you can also use afx2daw on the Mac platform, implement professional FPGA FX plug-ins directly in your DAW and save and automate their parameters. afx2daw is not included with the card and must be purchased. Orion32+ can be controlled using MacOS, Win and Android apps. For Windows users, Antelope Audio offers a very fast and stable Thunderbolt driver, with which you can get latency well below 1 ms.
