Description of product

Boss DD-3T Digital Delay is a modernized version of the legendary pedal effect from the Japanese brand Boss. Fans of the original pedal and cascading guitar surfaces will be pleased to see the original design retained, including the layout of the controls.

The main change is the addition of the tap tempo function, which can be controlled by the built-in switch (activated by holding the footswitch longer) or by an external tap tempo footswitch. You'll also be pleased to see the Direct Out output moved (offering the option of splitting the wet/dry signal, which will be appreciated by players working with multiple instruments at once, for example) to the side of the standard pedal output for easier cable connection.

Otherwise, the pedal effect follows a tried-and-true recipe - use the three Mode knobs (Short, Medium, Long) and the Time potentiometer to precisely determine the form of the effect delay (delays) from 12.5 ms to a maximum of 800 ms, and the remaining E. Level and F. Back knobs to set the wet/dry signal ratio and number of repeats. The Hold function, now under the name Short Loop, allows you to capture up to 800 ms of sound and then freely improvise and apply additional surfaces to the "looped" backing.

The box, like all pedals in current Boss production, operates in buffered bypass mode. Power is supplied by a 9V battery or 9V adapter.
