The Blackstar AmPlug2 FLY headphone amplifier is based on the popular FLY and offers the same massive sound in an even more compact package. The literally pocket-sized box lets you practice anytime, anywhere without disturbing your surroundings or having to compromise on high sound standards.
With three selectable channels, it covers a wide range of sounds from crystal clear, to rock crunch, to thick metal distortion. In addition, the specific tone characteristics and the ratio of treble to bass can be fine-tuned with the Tone control.
Jamming is made more enjoyable by the headphone output and six rhythm accompaniments, including a metronome with selectable speed via the Tap Tempo button. If that's not enough, there's also an input for your phone or mp3 player, so you can practice with your favourite tracks. You can easily connect the amp to your instrument using the foldable 6.3 mm jack, which is also compatible with "flush" connectors. The amplifier is powered by two included AAA batteries, and the auto shut-off feature ensures up to 17 hours of playing time.
