Britt Daniel Tele Thinline is the signature model of the electric guitar of American guitarist Britt Daniel from indie rock/pop band Spoon.
The Telecaster's lightweight ash body is adorned with a glossy finish in a cool Amarillo Gold colour scheme. A solid maple neck with a pleasing "Deep C" profile and a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets provide ample playing comfort for players of contemporary genres. Black position dots make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The two hand-wound pickups from the Custom Shop were chosen by Britt Daniel himself for their classic sound and feel. Standard controls in the form of a volume potentiometer, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch are complemented by an S-1 switch discreetly located on the volume control, which can be used to switch between series and parallel pickup connections.
Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Fender ClassicGear 18:1 ratio gears and the solid six-saddle tailpiece and string attachment through the body of the instrument. The stylish look is accentuated by the Nickel/Chrome hardware, black three-ply pickguard and Fender logo on the headstock.
The instrument comes in a moulded case.
