ZOOM F6

The Zoom F6 is the first professional recorder to offer 32-bit recording quality and, together with a dual AD converter, provides a wide dynamic range. The recorder is suitable for TV and film sound engineers who need to capture clear, undistorted audio signals anytime, anywhere. In addition, the F6 will be used by producers and artists who need, for example, to create pre-production demo recordings, record rehearsal footage or want to become a musical YouTube star. Intuitive controls, compact size, light weight and great user features make the recorder a versatile device that anyone with any interest in music, sound or production will find a use for.

The six-channel recorder houses a microphone preamplifier with a Line/Mic switch on each input, and the precision Time Code then gives you accuracy down to 0.2 ppm. Another feature is the Zoom AutoMix software, which automatically adjusts the mix level to reduce ambient noise.

The front of the recorder features a clear LED display that shows you all the data you need, as well as volume potentiometers and intuitive controls for easy recording and Zoom F6 settings. The sides then feature Neutrik XLR connectors for microphones and musical instruments, and there's also a headphone jack with volume control or Time Code for the most accurate synchronisation of audiovisual content. Another output is the Line Out, this allows you to connect the recorder to an external mixer, camera and other external devices. Another side output is a Bluetooth BTA-1 adapter slot (not included), which allows you to wirelessly connect the recorder to your iPhone or iPad device. The last input is a USB-C port for transferring audio recordings to a PC or laptop, and the USB cable is used to power the device itself.

The Zoom F6 records files to an SD card up to 512GB in size, and the back also offers a slot for four AA batteries that last for 7.5 hours of operation. A camera mount is included.
