However, individual paired pairs (or quads) vary considerably in performance even within the same brand, so ALWAYS check and adjust the operating point of the amplifier after replacing the tubes. Failure to do so runs a high risk of thermal overload and significantly shortened life, which is not covered by warranty. We are happy to adjust the operating point of the amplifier in our service department.
