NOVATION Summit

Novation's flagship with two parts of multitimbral, sixteen voices of polyphony and sixty-one keys. Summit builds on the success of the award-winning Novation Peak synthesizer. It is a synthesizer with three oscillators per voice, sixteen voices of polyphony and keyboard that will be appreciated by semi-professional and professional musicians alike. This inspiring instrument is suitable for both studio and live playing.

The Summit actually puts the power of two Peaks in your hands, allowing you to create two completely independent sounds that can be split, layered or seamlessly switched between on the keyboard.

Summit also expands the Peak's control layout so that a number of previously hidden parameters can now be controlled directly from the front panel - FM routing, LFO 3 and 4, all arpeggiator parameters and more - and pitch and modulation wheels have been added. Summit also offers new filter options, an audio input for processing external audio with reverb, chorus and delay effects.

At the heart of the Novation Peak are three New Oxford Oscillator digital oscillators stored on an FPGA (Filed Programmable Gate Array) chip, available for each voice. This configuration allows not only the generation of rich, high-resolution waveforms - similar to an analogue synthesizer - but also FM synthesis and wavetable synthesis to create rich, complex and highly textured raw sounds.

Each voice is routed through a stereo signal path containing dual analog filters, three stages of analog distortion, and analog VCAs; while a range of modulation options and three effects bring movement, life, and brilliance to your sound.
