IRON CROSS SW is a more affordable signature model of James Hetfield, the leader of the world famous Metallica, from ESP LTD.
The guitar in the classic rock LP shape catches the eye at first glance with its maple top with Snow White finish, black stripes and black iron cross motif. The body of the instrument itself is made of mahogany and maple top. The glued mahogany neck with a narrower Thin U profile is joined by a Makasar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Position blocks with a distinctive iron cross motif on the twelfth fret facilitate orientation on its surface.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, as well as density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. The strings are held in the company's high quality locking mechanisms and a solid Tonepros Locking TOM tailpiece and stringer.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
