H&H's new Tessen-X Series dual-band active speaker offers great performance at an affordable price. The loudspeaker is suitable for music clubs and cultural houses, but can also be used as a mobile PA system for outdoor events.
Inside the quality all-wood construction is a 12" woofer with Kevlar diaphragm for low signal distortion and a 1" tweeter in Italian LaVoce design. The Class-D Bi-Amp amplifier with conventional cooling for quiet operation allows for a maximum power output of up to 1600W. The rear offers a mixing console with two inputs, a two-band EQ and each channel features a Gain control. There's also a four-mode switch depending on the placement or use of the speaker (Flat, Bass, Monitor, Vocal) and an Anti-Feedback mode to prevent adverse feedback from microphones and loud instruments. The front of the speaker is protected by a high quality 1.5mm metal grill.
The TNE-1201 can be placed on a speaker stand, mounted to a suspension system using three M10 threads or used asymmetrically for an in-ear monitor at an angle of up to 35°.
