The AHX Fitness Headset Wireless System with Headset Microphone is a great choice for exercisers, instructors or various public presentations. The miniature transmitter, equipped with a power switch and mute control, is placed inconspicuously on the back of the headset microphone and allows complete freedom of movement. It is powered by a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery that lasts up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge. No additional cables or body packs are needed. The Qe condenser microphone is sweat and moisture resistant and has cardioid directional characteristics.
The CR99 receiver, housed in an all-metal design, has true RF diversity to minimize signal dropouts, and the infrared beam mediates easy channel adjustment. Other features include group scanning to facilitate single or multiple station operation and the ability to lock in selected settings to eliminate interference. Among other features, there is a clear display on the front panel and a volume control for the balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (6.3 mm Jack) outputs on the rear panel. A power adapter and rack mounting kit are included.
