The construction of the seven-string Regius 7 consists of a through-neck made of eleven layers of four different woods (maple, mahogany, ovangkol, wenge), wings made of swamp ash and an impressive carved top made of figured maple. Maximum playing comfort is ensured by a specially shaped neck foot for easy access to the higher positions of the fingerboard and a belly cut back. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four frets (Wagner 9665) of jumbo size.
Two passive humbuckers of the respected Seymour Duncan brand in the proven Jazz 7/JB-7 combination provide the instrument with great dynamics and precise articulation of sound (single notes/chord decompositions), as well as the necessary punch. Volume potentiometer, tone shutters and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
Good tuning and sustain are supported by the zero-fret string attachment (Graph Tech TusQ) in the Hipshot Grid-Lock locking mechanism and the Hipshot 6 solid body with string anchor through the body. The luxurious design is accentuated by a three-layered body, fingerboard and headstock binding made of ABS and imitation pearloid, and a headstock veneer of figured maple.
The guitar comes in a quality Hiscox case. Included are Schaller branded safety strap locks and a switchcraft jack.
