You can use 10 analog drums for beat making - kick, 2x snare, high and low tom, cowbell (!), cymbal open and closed hi-hat and FM sound. Each drum can be given its own accent, quickly change its color (except the cowbell) or add swing.
And what would a groovebox be without a sequencer. In this case, you have up to 64 steps that can be linked together to create a totally complex track. In addition, you can set a different metre (polyrhythms) for each drum, apply random playback, use a looper for beat repeat or quickly create transitions.
There is an integrated overdrive on the output, so you can make the whole beat sharper and harmonically richer. In addition to the main output of the entire mix, you can send out kick, snare, hi-hats and FM audio separately.
Syncing is done via MIDI or internal and external clocks (1PPS, 2PPQ, DIN24, DIN48) and of course there's also a metronome with crank that you can send to your headphones.
