The IRT-SLS is a lightweight compact three-channel rackmount hybrid amplifier (tube preamp, Class D end). With a wide range of wiring options and adjustable dual power (1-60 watts or 3-300 watts), it is a flexible helper for studio, live performance and home practice.
Each channel has a separate volume control. The first two channels share gain controls and a three-band EQ with push/pull function that works as a boost of a given frequency, while the third (lead) channel has a separate gain control and a three-band EQ with push/pull function. You can also kick up the volume of each channel with the switchable Pre-Boost control. The end-amp section is equipped with Tone potentiometers and a built-in digital Reverb effect to fine-tune the final sound shape. The Watts control with Push/Pull function selects the mode and optimum power output of the amplifier.
The rear panel of the unit offers an effects loop input/output with signal attenuation (-10 dB) and bypass mode, three footswitch inputs (2x 6.3 mm jack, 1x DIN) with channel control, boost and reverb functions, USB interface, jack output for re-amping, speaker output with selectable impedance and DI output with speaker emulation (1,2 and Off mode). The latter, like the Aux In input for mp3/Audio sound devices and the headphone output, has a volume control for the output signal. Internal Dummy Load allows silent recording without the need to connect a speaker.
Footswitch FS4-IRT is included.
The IRT series is one of the newest lines in Laney's lineup. These machines are primarily designed for fans of harder genres, but you'll have no trouble getting both a nice clean sound and lively rock distortion with them, and you'll feel right at home in the waters of metal hi-gain.
