The Yamaha DTX402 electronic drums are designed especially for beginner players to help them improve their drumming skills. Honest construction, durable components, quality sounds and an intuitive user interface make it easy to practice and motivate you to keep playing.

The DTX402 builds on its successful predecessor, the popular DTX400 kit, but comes with many improvements - the foundation is a more stable and solid ramp with more flexible hi-hat and snare pad placement options, complemented by quieter pads and cymbals with a more natural response. The module itself has also been redesigned, expanding the sonic possibilities to 287 great-sounding percussion sounds, 128 keyboard sounds and 10 configurable drum kits with nine types of reverb. In addition to these, the module offers several types of tutorials and exercises that, along with the recording function, will serve you well for improving your drumming techniques.

Of course, there's a metronome function, tone generator and USB output, complete with the Yamaha DTX402 app, available for both iOS and Android. The app offers many additional features, from easy configuration of the kit's sound options to special practice challenges that will challenge drummers of all levels.
