The Legacy series of bass amplifiers from Gallien-Krueger carries on the legacy of fifty years of experience, innovation and development. Today, the company is one of the leading manufacturers of basses and has been endorsed by the likes of Flea of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses. The series consists of three amplifiers of 500, 800 and 1200 watts, which feature a retro 1980s design. The Legacy series amplifiers are very versatile and adapt to all playing techniques and musical genres. Your resulting sound can be clean, smooth, or biting and densely saturated with overdrive.
Together with a Class D amplifier, the Legacy 1200 offers a maximum power output of up to 1200W. The front control panel consists of a volume and distortion control, an overdrive switch or a four-band equalizer for adjusting the audio signal. There are also Bump/Contour/Presence audio filter switches for the most flexible use of the amplifier. The rear panel then offers a three-position impedance switch, a two-position Pre/Post source switch, Speakon jacks for connecting speakers, an effects loop, footswitch and tuner input, or headphone or music device input. Of course, there is an XLR output for DI Box with Lift/Ground unground switch. The amplifier features two sturdy handles for convenient transport and easy handling on stage.
