This electric guitar is the signature model of guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe of the German Rammstein band. At first glance, it catches the eye with its radical Distressed & Burnt finish and red pickups. Its asymmetrical body is made of alder. A three-piece maple neck with a Thin U profile is joined by a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing the density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Other high quality components used include the original Floyd Rose double reverse tremolo, Gotoh tuning machines and Schaller rolls. Tuning stability when using the tremolo lever is guaranteed by the locks on the zero fret, which, like all hardware, are in a stylish chrome finish.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammet, James Hettfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
