The 20-watt Marshall Dual Super Lead combo offers a classic British tone that you automatically associate with this legendary brand of apparatus. It's a full-amp amp with two channels that can crank out everything from clean sounds to JCM800-like crunch to thick metal distortion. Both channels share a three-band EQ and two amp end section controls, Presence and Resonance, which adjust the sound in the treble and bass frequencies. The Tone Shift button changes the centre frequencies of the pre-amp. Its services are best utilized in the hi-gain setting of the second channel. The built-in digital reverb effect adds another dimension to your sound and your playing.
On the rear panel, the combo offers an effects loop function, a footswitch input, three outputs to external speakers with 1x 16 OHM, 1x 8 OHM and 2x 16 OHM connection options, an audio in for connecting external MP3/audio devices and an Emulated Out jack that can serve as a headphone output or as a direct output from the combo to the mix. A footswitch is included, used to switch between the combo channels and activate the effects loop.
At the heart of the combo is a 12-inch Celestion Seventy-80 speaker.
