The compact five-watt Marshall Dual Super Lead combo offers a classic British tone that you'll automatically associate with this legendary brand of instruments. It's a full-amp amp with two channels that can crank out everything from clean sounds to JCM800-like crunch to thick metal distortion. Both channels share a three-band EQ and Tone Shift and Deep buttons. The former alters the pre-amp's midrange frequencies, combined with the hi-gain setting to achieve a contemporary metal sound, the Deep button to accentuate the bass bottom end. The built-in digital reverb effect adds another dimension to your sound and your playing.
On the rear panel, the combo offers the features you'd look for in a larger and more powerful machine, i.e. Send/Return effect loops, footswitch input, 16 ohm external speaker output, audio in for connecting external MP3/audio devices, power reduction to 0.5 watts and an Emulated Out jack that can serve as a headphone output or as a direct output from the combo to the mix. A footswitch is included, used to switch between the combo's channels and activate the effects loop.
