BOSS GT-1000

The GT-1000 guitar multieffect takes the scepter of the imaginary flagship of the Boss brand in the field of guitar effects and multieffects. It uses the brand new, patented AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology based on the Tube Logic concept already used in Katana, Waza and Blues Cube, which delivers the natural tube feel and dynamics of individual effects and optimized integration with any external devices, backed by a powerful next-generation DSP processor and high-end AD/DA converters working in 32-bit/96 kHz quality.

With a total of 116 effect types and 500 presets (250 factory and 250 user), the multi-effect offers a sound for everyone. From vintage amplifiers/combos with a warm tube feel to modern hi-gain machines to machines using MDP (Multi-Dimensional Processing) technology to improve dynamic response. It is also possible to use two sounds of the machines within one preset, both in parallel and in series. In the effects section you will find a wide range of familiar sounds like overdrive, distortion, delay, reverb, modulation and special modulation effects like Slicer or Slow Gear. Many of these again use MDP technology.

Selecting individual presets and editing them is made easy by a large display and six assigned controls. The multi-effect also offers the possibility of editing via Bluetooth from your phone or tablet. The controls themselves are controlled via ten footswitches and an integrated expression pedal. The list of other functions and features also includes a tuner with +0.1 cent accuracy, a looper with a recording time of 38 seconds and the necessary amount of connectors, i.e. instrument mono input, mono/stereo output, two effect loop inputs/outputs, two XLR sub outputs, MIDI, USB, three inputs for external controllers and headphone output.
