The Furch acoustic bass is made of all-solid material and uses the company's own construction for the top. This instrument is built without compromise. For example, while the resonance hole may look like modern art in its shape, its placement was carefully chosen to maximize the instrument's low-frequency performance.
The B61 is made using American red cedar for the soundboard and African mahogany for the sides and back. The Open-Pore finish provides this quality instrument with a very natural sound, supported by the L.R. Baggs Element Active System - Volume Tone Control pickup and electronics. The instrument also includes a high quality padded gig bag.
