The Wailer Wah pedal from Electro Harmonix offers exactly the same singing tone as its predecessor, the well-known Crying Tone wah pedal. Not surprisingly, its durable chassis houses completely identical electronics to the aforementioned pedal effect. The biggest difference is in the construction.
Like other effects from the company's current production, the chassis of the Wailer Wah pedal is made of composite material, which is not only extremely durable and strong, but also relatively light compared to classic 60's Cry Baby quaffles. This makes it a great choice for any active musician who is still fiddling with massive, heavy quaaludes every night.
Of course, this wah pedal is True-Bypass, so it doesn't affect the guitar signal in any way in the off state. Power is taken care of by a 9-volt battery or adapter.
