RME Digiface USB

Digiface USB is a portable digital USB audio interface with superior sound and a wide range of applications. The device has four optical interfaces with a choice of ADAT or S/PDIF in/out format and a high-quality analog stereo output for monitoring, which can also be used as a headphone output. SMUX and SMUX4 channel multiplexing is supported, so sample rates up to 192kHz can be achieved at the cost of reducing the number of channels. The device is powered directly from the USB bus and is compatible with both PC and MAC computers.

Each of the four ports offers an optical interface in eight-channel ADAT or two-channel S/PDIF format - can be switched independently on each port. SúMUX channel multiplexing is supported, so sample rates up to 192kHz can be achieved at the cost of reducing the number of channels.

The Total Mix application allows arbitrary routing of input/playback/output channels, creating submixes, etc. All with zero latency.



Digiface USB is designed especially for owners of ADDA converters, microphone preamps with ADAT output, sound processors with S/PDIF output, but also for connecting digital mixing consoles with ADAT interface. USB Digify provides a solution for studio and live recording as well as routing and rewiring signals to/from external devices.
