The Furch acoustic bass is made of all-solid material and uses the company's own construction for the top. This instrument is built without compromise. For example, while the resonance hole may look like modern art in its shape, its placement was carefully chosen to maximize the instrument's low-frequency performance.
The B61 is made using Sitka spruce for the soundboard and black walnut for the sides and back. The Open-Pore finish ensures a very natural sound for this quality instrument.
The bass is equipped with LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup and electronics, which combines the pickup and microphone inside the body for a natural, articulate and bassy sound.
