HUGHES & KETTNER GrandMeister Deluxe 40

If you're looking for a tube machine with a wide range of great tube sound and setup options, you've come to the right place with Hughes and Kettner. The Grandmeister 40 offers four channels, effects, MIDI, DI box, remote control and power brake. This makes it suitable for every conceivable occasion.

The 12AX7 and EL84 tubes and Deluxe Tone technology are responsible for the great sound. So you can set a pleasantly saturated vintage tone, modern distortion and everything in between on the four channels. The sound can be further enhanced with a built-in effects unit with Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and Tremolo. If you add the FSM-432 MK II MIDI foot controller, you can store up to 128 specific sounds that you set. And simply recall them at any time by pressing the pedal.

For easy sound and recording without a microphone, the amp features a DI Red Box with cabinet simulations, and you'll also find a Noise Gate on the rear panel to control unwanted noise. The combo's power can be reduced from the full 40W to 20/5/1W, so you can play it in a giant arena during a gig or in the middle of the night.

Add to all this a remote control via the GM40 Remote app for iPad (via MIDI) and you've got one of the most flexible amps that really makes your job easier. Included in the package is a protective case (softbag).
