The JS series guitars are affordable models that offer the true Jackson tone without breaking the bank or compromising on build quality.
The body of this guitar is made of poplar and is protected by a polyester lacquer. The maple neck is bolted to the body. The fingerboard has been turned from amaranth and its radius is 12". There are 24 jumbo-sized frets. The gauge of the instrument measures 648 mm, the width of the zero fret stops at 43 mm.
The strings pass through the body of the guitar via a single-turn tremolo (2 Point Fulcrum), and precision Jackson Die-Cast covered mechanics are used for tuning.
Sound pickup is handled by two humbuckers, which are switched by a three-position switch. There are also volume and tone controls.
Thick sound and a Jacksonian feel - the JS Dinky series guitars offer both.
