The iRig UA has phenomenal sound thanks to its built-in digital signal processor (DSP). This cutting-edge processor is the first of its kind and offers a unique solution with minimal latency on the Android platform, as all signal processing is done directly in the iRig UA. This DSP was designed to work with the companion AmpliTube UA app. This app runs directly on the DSP and offers an amazing collection of virtual gear that you can use to create your own dream guitar or bass sound.
A versatile system
The iRig UA can also be used as a 24-bit/44.1(48)kHz digital audio interface to Samsung Professional Audio or Android 5.0 platform devices, but can also be connected to a PC or Mac via a USB to MicroUSB cable.

The iRig UA is ready as soon as you take it out of the box. Just connect it to your Android device via the included OTG connector and you're ready to go. Then it's up to you how you use it. Whether you use the AmpliTube app to start playing or whether you use Samsung Soundcamp, a full-featured DAW mobile app that lets you record or compose on the go.

The iRig UA comes with the AmpliTube UA app, a full-featured version of the mobile guitar sound studio that revolutionizes what you can do on the go. AmpliTube UA offers a generous and expandable library of carefully curated virtual versions of the most sought-after devices in music history. You get 21 different modules: 9 boxes, 5 amps, 5 boxes and 2 microphones. You'll find you'll really love them. You can very easily create an entire guitar or bass setup consisting of an amp, three boxes (which you can place before or after the amp), and a box with adjustable microphone pickup. That's more than enough combinations and different sounds to get you started, however, this collection can be expanded with an ever-growing database of virtual equipment that faithfully simulates pieces from brands such as Fender, Orange, Ampeg, Soldano, and more. There is also exclusive content from the hugely popular AmpliTube Slash and AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix collections.

A micro-USB OTG cable is also included, and the iRig UA has the essential teardrop output (3.5mm jack) with volume control.
It also has a 3.5mm input that allows you to connect the iRIg UA to an external audio source so you can jam to your favorite music. On Android 5.0 and above, you can play songs directly from your device (both from saved files and from internet streaming - YouTube, Spotify, ...). On Android 4, you can do this by plugging the headphone output on your device into the AUX input on the iRig UA.
