OctaMIC II offers 8 balanced XLR/jack inputs with microphone or line level. Each channel provides 48V phantom power to condenser microphones, low cut filter and phase reversal. The GAIN value is adjustable from 10 to 60dB via a potentiometer on each input. Front panel LED indication monitors signal/clip level and indicates phantom power activity.
Front panel switches allow the output level to be set to -10 dBu, +4 dBu or HIGain (+19 dBu). This unusual feature has the advantage that the output level can be adapted to any R.M.E. system (from Fireface 800, Multiface and HDSP 9632 to ADI series converters).

The OctaMIC II features an 8-channel digital output of ADAT format with 96 kHz sample rate support, as well as AES format (DB-25 connector) with 192 kHz support. SteadyClock technology for maximum correction of jitter and inaccuracies in conversion ensures maximum sound quality with absolute independence from the accuracy and quality of the control sync "clock".
