The Ibanez Promethean bass is the ideal choice for the traveling musician who needs quality sound, maximum reliability, and a small footprint and light weight.
This combo has up to 300 watts of power, which is converted into sound by a 10-inch speaker. A tweeter is also fitted for optimum sound reproduction, but this can be turned off if required.
The control panel is accessible from the top of the unit. Six potentiometers are located behind the input for your instrument. These are, of course, Gain and Master determining the input distortion and output volume, complemented by a 3-band EQ consisting of Low, Mid and High controls. In addition, there is a Phat potentiometer further working with bass frequencies.
There is also a built-in limiter switch on the top panel and jacks serving as headphone output and aux-in input for CD or mp3 player type devices. The rear side also includes an XLR line output and an output for an external speaker.
