This instrument is part of the Signature series, which is actually a special subdivision of the Prestige series, here the best of Ibanez is offered. Be warned - these are not copies and substitutes, these are truly instruments played by those whose names each model bears. Whether the instruments are more or less based in design on classic Ibanez models, whether they are the signatures of players involved in jazz and blues, punk, rock and metal or fusion, they are always top quality instruments that have undergone a long development process with the collaboration of individual artists and are built to never let you down.

The SDB3 is built to the exact specifications of bassist Sharlee D'Angelo of Arch Enemy and is based on the Iceman Bass shape. It's actually a bass version of the Iceman electric guitars that originated in the 1970s. The characteristics of these instruments are certainly the atypically shaped body with two cutouts that allow perfect accessibility to all positions, the pleasantly thin neck that contributes to a really comfortable playing experience, the careful selection of the woods and hardware used and, most importantly, the great sound. Of course, it differs from them in custom workmanship, other parameters and hardware. It is already factory tuned to C-F-A#-D#.

The body of this bass is made of mahogany and finished in Black Flat. The neck corresponds to the SDB4 type, consists of five pieces of maple and drum set with 22 Medium frets. It has the following parameters: the menstruation is measured at 864 mm, the width at the zero fret is 43 mm, the height at the 12th fret is 22.5 mm, the radius corresponds to 305 mm. All this contributes to easy and fast hand movement and a pleasant playing feeling. The neck is also through and through compared to other basses, which significantly increases sustain and tuning stability.

The instrument is equipped with two passive humbucker type pickups, namely the Passive Full Range version N4 (neck) and B4 (headstock), the sound from them can be controlled by the two-band EQB-II DX equalizer controlling treble and bass, Balancer and Volume. With this combination of pickups and other electronics, it's completely seamless to get a large number of sound settings while maintaining perfect tone color and dynamics.

The strings are anchored in a Mono Rail IV type headstock, the stones of which give the strings a 19mm pitch. D'Addario strings are wound onto the bass at the factory.
