BOSS eBAND JS-10
The JS-10 is a unique piece of hardware used by guitarists, bassists or singers to improve, streamline and make practicing and playing more enjoyable. This device combines the functions of a multieffect, player and 2.1 sound system. With it, you can jam with dozens of factory-recorded tracks or loops, or you can upload your own audio files to the memory via USB interface or SD card reader.
The JS-10 alone contains over 350 audio loops and 50 tracks. You can adjust their tempo or transpose them to other keys as you play them. Of course, you can record - either just your ideas or complete jams, i.e. your instrument and the backing track.
At the same time, the eBand includes a multi-effect using COSM technology, making it virtually identical to the GT-100 multi-effect - Boss' flagship product. In addition to standard effects, instrument and speaker simulations are included to make the sound truly authentic. Since the JS-10 has two inputs and two independent signal paths, it can be used in two without any problems!
The built-in speakers work as a 2.1 system - so it's two satellites and one subwoofer. This configuration offers clear sound with ideal bass, midrange and treble balance.
When it comes to the regulation itself, when viewed from the front you can clearly see the two satellites, between which there is an easy-to-read display, controls and connectors. There are two separate inputs and therefore two signal paths - the first is for bass or guitar, the second for guitar or bass, microphone and possibly external devices like CD or mp3 players. Each has a separate volume setting, plus there is a Master Volume. Above are the buttons that control the player and set all the sound parameters.
The rear side contains connectors for connecting to a larger audio system, a USB interface, an SD card slot and a power adapter connector.
