NanoKEY2 features a distinctive and modern design. By combining the great "touch" developed by Korg for the keys of its professional MIDI keyboards and the low-profile "thickness" according to the latest computer keyboard innovations, the nanoKEY2 gets a better keyboard response than its class and size. Its design incorporates sufficient key width and space between keys, reducing the possibility of hitting the wrong note. Touch and dynamic response are carefully tuned, as you'd expect from a manufacturer with the recording experience and know-how of Korg, so your playing will be transferred to the software with absolute precision.

The control buttons are simple yet versatile.

The Octave Shift buttons - taken from Korg MIDI controllers - allow you to move the overall pitch up and down by up to four levels, in octave steps. When used in conjunction with the Key Transpose function, the nanoKEY2 gains access to the entire note range of the MIDI spectrum. For advanced players, the nanoKEY2 also offers Pitch Bend buttons, a Modulation button and a Sustain button, independently for piano and electric piano playing. For each of these buttons, you can specify the on/off speed in four levels (in Korg Kontrol Editor), so the changes will be smooth enough to match your playing.

Korg Kontrol Editor software.

The NanoKEY2 works with the "Korg Kontrol Editor" software - which you can download for free from the Korg website. Once downloaded to your computer, use it to make detailed parameter settings. Choose from four dynamics settings: three dynamic curves and a fixed value, and you can enter Control change messages sent by the modulation and sustain buttons.

Just plug one USB cable from your computer into the nanoKEY2 for a fast, portable, music production system. Both power and USB-MIDI data pass through one cable, so you work in a clean and simple environment.
