The MXR Carbon Copy is an analog BBD delay effect from Dunlop's MXR pedal range, offering everything from short bathroom echoes to epic dreamy "Gilmour" surfaces with near infinite sustain (delay time from 20 to 600 ms). The pedal's three basic controls determine the mix of the clean/processed signal (Mix), the number of repeats (Regen) and the delay effect onset rate (Delay). For a more expressive effect, you can use the Mod switch to add effect modulation to the signal. Additional options are offered by internal switches (trimmers) with Width and Rate functions.
All electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. The box operates in Hardwire-Bypass mode, so it passes sound even when the battery in the effect runs out. Power can be supplied via a 9V adapter or 9V battery.
