The purpose of this box is probably quite clear - it is a typical auto-wah. Depending on the dynamics of your playing (simply put - depending on how loud you let the signal into the Bassballs), it will start to change the frequency response, creating a characteristic effect of a kind of "quack" similar to the articulation of vowels. And why make it complicated when it's easy - to control this effect, all you need is one potentiometer that determines how much frequency range the Bassballs will "croak" in, and one switch that is used to turn on fuzz-type distortion, which enriches the signal with higher frequencies and distorts the
Triggering the envelope filter is indicated by a red LED, the stompbox is of course analogue and has True-Bypass, so it doesn't affect the signal in any way when switched off. The power supply is taken care of by either a 9 volt battery or an adapter.
