VOX VX50-AG (opened)

Compact and lightweight are two words that describe the VX50 AG acoustic guitar combo from the renowned Vox brand. Contemporary, too, it must be added. It uses Nutube tubes instead of conventional guitar tubes; the result is an authentic sound with the warm character of traditional tubes, capturing all the nuances of your playing, whether in the form of subtle or punchy playing. The chassis of the box is made of ABS composite material. This is not only lightweight and durable, but also ductile compared to wood. This gives the box a 3D design with optimal sound resonance. Its body houses an eight-inch speaker and an eight-inch tweeter.

The combo offers two channels, instrument and microphone. They are equipped with independent volume controls, three (two) band equalizers and effect distortion potentiometers. The microphone channel traditionally has a Reverb effect, while the Effects potentiometer of the instrument channel offers Reverb, Chorus and a combination of them. The microphone channel has the option of phantom power, the instrument channel's Phase switch suppresses the occurrence of possible feedback.

Other practical features include a headphone output for quiet home practice or an audio/mp3 input, which you can use to connect a smartphone or other device/app to the combo and play backing tracks, samples or auto-drummer sounds. A line output connects an external speaker to the combo.
