The Rickenbacker five-string bass is for anyone who has missed the fifth string on these legendary instruments. The traditional red sunburst called Fireglo is probably the most typical for Rickenbacker instruments; the body of the bass is predominantly maple, the through-grain maple two-ply neck is wrapped with maple wings, rosewood fingerboard has been used with a distinctive wood grain and again typically lacquered for the American brand.
The gauge of the instrument is 33 and 1/4'' inches. The Schaller Deluxe tuning machines and Schaller 3D-5 fingerboard are complemented by original Rickenbacker single pickups in a special triangular shape.
The instrument is in excellent condition. There are a few minor knocks on the back of the neck and body, otherwise the bass is in perfect condition. It is sold including the original case in BAZAAR VAT.
