The Ortega banjo from the Raven range offers a fresh contemporary design in the form of a stylish semi-gloss finish in black and chrome hardware.
The OUBJ100-SBK banjo combines the world of the banjo with the compact shape and playability of a ukulele. It is a four-string banjolele of the closed back type, i.e. with a closed back plate - a resonator made of plywood maple. It has a maple neck, an ovangkol fingerboard with position dots for easier orientation, a body made of plywood and a Remo black membrane attached to the rim. The strings are mounted in chrome Die-Cast tuning mechanisms and also a chrome-plated stringboard.
The banjo is supplied in a high quality instrument case. Unlike other models in the Raven series, the shoulder rest is not decorated with engraving.
