The Laney Audiohub AH115-G2 is a powerful and flexible dual-band active speaker system with an integrated mixing console and digital media player that is capable of playing music from SD memory card, USB drive and also features Bluetooth to stream from any Bluetooth audio device.
The speaker box is equipped with an 800W amplifier that excites a 15" woofer and a 1" tweeter. The user is provided with a handy mixing console on the back of the chassis, which offers a clear arrangement for 3 input channels and one master. Each of the channels is fitted with XLR and 6.3 mm Jack connectors (the third channel has an alternative Jack 3.5 mm TRS for stereo signal connection), a button for switching impedance and therefore the choice between mic or line source and input volume. The master then features output volume and a two-band EQ.
The sophisticated media player includes a full-size transport section for playback control and is also complemented by an easy-to-read status display. Operation is therefore very intuitive and seamless. The player has a dedicated channel 3 of the mixing console, including stereo Bluetooth signal reception.
The shock-resistant polymer construction and logical arrangement of the controls make it easy to use and carry.
