The Gold Tone CC-OT banjo pack is designed for beginner banjo players who want to improve their clawhammer technique in addition to purchasing an instrument. The pack includes a standard banjo with an open back plate and Old Time style brass tone ring, gig bag, instructional video in English, strap and a nail/spike for the seventh fret of the fifth string of the banjo.
The body of the instrument is made of laminated maple. An 11-inch Remo LC Fiberskyn membrane is attached to the body by a tensioning system. The rosewood fingerboard is divided by eighteen frets and decorative position markers (dots and stars). The strings are mounted in guitar-style tuning machines and over a maple and ebony fingerboard in a no-knot stringing system. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the vintage style armrest, Fairbanks style headstock shape, chrome hardware and Vintage Brown Satin finish.
