The J Mascis Ram's Head Big Muff Pi guitar fuzz effect is Electro-Harmonix's tribute to the American singer, guitarist and lead songwriter of alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr. J Mascis. The pedal design is based on the highly acclaimed 1973 Electro-Harmonix V2 Violet Ram's Head Big Muff. The sound of the fuzz effect is more articulate than other Big Muff models with great dynamics, sustain and sonic separation of individual strings, which you'll appreciate in a variety of musical styles - whether playing guitar riffs or solos.
