Behringer NX1000D

The Behringer NX1000D is an ultra-lightweight , 1000W Class-D two-channel amplifier featuring an internal DSP unit and SmartSense speaker impedance compensation.

In an exceptionally lightweight (3.4 kg) 2U rack-mount design, the NX3000D amplifier delivers 1000 W of power (2 x 500 W @ 2 Ohm, 2 x 300 W @ 4 Ohm, 1000 W @ 4 Ohm in bridge mode). The built-in DSP unit and operates at 24-bit/96kHz resolution and ensures perfect signal integrity with extremely wide dynamic range. The NX1000D is much more efficient than conventional designs, produces less thermal radiation and does not require the massive heat sinks and heavy toroidal transformers usually associated with outdated designs. Thanks to high-efficiency Class-D amplifier technology, tremendous power and incredible sonic performance is available in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight package. The "Zero-Attack" limiter, which offers maximum output level with extremely reliable overload protection, and with SmartSense speaker impedance compensation that ensures a fully linear frequency response at any speaker load impedance, you can run the NX1000D at full power for hours.

Front-panel controls and indicators provide an overview of your system's most important functions. All channels feature Gain controls with graduated gain and Signal LEDs that light up when a signal is present, as well as Limit LEDs that indicate when the amplifier is operating at full power. The rear panel is fitted with a pair of combined XLR and 6.3mm TRS jack input connectors, making the amp compatible with virtually any audio source.The speaker output consists of professional speaker sockets with a twist lock.

For sound engineers who demand high-level control, the NX1000D amplifier is ready for action right out of the box. The DSP section offers sophisticated delay adjustment, crossover (3 types of filters, up to 48 dB/octave), EQ (8 parametric, 2 dynamic), dynamics processing and lockable security settings. A convenient front-panel LCD display allows settings and adjustments directly on the amplifier, without the need for a computer.

New SmartSense technology puts the punch back into a Class-D amplifier, providing significantly improved frequency response throughout the range with more dynamic bass and smoother high frequency reproduction. The resulting output is no longer dependent on the actual load, but is perfectly flat thanks to impedance compensation. The NX1000D's design also incorporates a significantly higher damping factor, bringing better amplifier control over the speaker for more powerful sound reproduction, especially in the low frequency range.
